Working to Windward - Bob Grimson

A fleet of Banks fishing schooners have left their homeport of Gloucester, Massachusetts, and are working their way to windward by tacking upwind against a SE breeze.

The morning sun has begun to burn off the sea fog. Once clear of Cape Anne they will be able to bring the wind on their starboard beam and make good speed to the North East.
