The frigate Aimable passes the Old Castle at the entrance to Dartmouth

A 32-gun 5th rate  frigate, the French L'Aimable was captured on 19 April 1782 by Lord Hood in the Mona Passage in the West Indies. She subsequently has a distinguished career in the Royal Navy until 1810.
