The two great early 20th century yachts are sailing towards another racing venue around the UK coasts, since Cowes and the Solent weren't the only centre for these grand races. They were skippered and crewed by paid professional seamen, mostly fishermen from ports on the East Coast and Devon or Cornwall. The owners were seldom on board during these 'cruises' but expected to find their vessels all in order and ready to race when-joining suring regattas and weekend racing.
