The DARINO was a British cargo steamer of 1,351 tons and built in 1917. On the 19th November 1939 when en route from Oporto for Liverpool carrying a cargo of port wine, 1600 tons sardines, and tin ore she was torpedoed by U-41 and sunk. 16 crew were lost.
