Plank on frame construction built in wood in the same method as the original full size item. Scale 1/35 the boat is about 9 inches long. Set in a sculpted porcelain sea and a golden oak case. The whaleboat is fully equipped with harpoons etc. Shown returning from a whale hunt under sail. These boats were sometimes dragged many miles from their ship when attatched to a whale and were often obliged to sail for several hours to get back to their ship.
