Petrojarl Foinaven; Way Out West - Rob Andrew

A vessel that started life as the Soviet era Anadyr, a submarine tender. With bow and stern upgraded and attached to a new mid-section of a double-skinned hull, she is now a Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) vessel used by the offshore oil and gas industry for the production and processing of hydrocarbons, and for the storage of oil.

She is permanently stationed in the Foinaven field and the crude oil is exported by shuttle tankers, primarily to the Flotta oil terminal in Orkney.
