This is the Jenny Morgan's memory from her days living on a self-build Norwegian designed gaff-cutter based in Essex. It shows one of the many creeks off the Essex coast, early morning, with restored Essex sailing smacks moored, waiting for a tide so they can take part in one of the many traditional boat races around that coast.
