Annual maintenance on the old-style Macduff slipway. Propping with timbers has since been replaced with fully mobile steel cradles. View wear and tear of a fishing boat's paintwork evidence of a hard job well done. It’s also very interesting in an abstract sort of way.

The sea is a harsh place to be year-round, and slipways are a good place to appreciate the evidence of work, wear, and rust. The misspelling of the home port (Banff does not have two 'n's) was just one of those things, no-one's fault but the artist's.
